Why Play music studios?
We established Play Music Studios in 2011 with the goal of creating a place that is truly unique: where independent music instructors of the highest quality are empowered to do what they do best -- teach, inspire, mentor, create, and play music!
We nurture each and every student, regardless of level and age, to become a musical expert by upstarting the benefits of musical education for toddlers with our Music Together program, preparing them to succeed in annual exams and competitions, and, of course, cultivating their involvement in the community through volunteering and internship opportunities
Our Approach to private lessons
We believe experienced teachers provide students with the best education.
At Play Music Studios, teachers customize their own curriculum, policy, calendar, tuition rates, and pedagogical approaches to most effectively meet the needs of each individual student.
Students learn best when they can work with the right teacher. One that continually challenges and encourages their unique talents.
At Play Music Studios, private students work with the teacher of their choice and personalize their lessons.

We are fortunate to be part of a vibrant community with a strong passion for music, education, and the arts. Our students recognize the inherent value of a music education, as well as the strong benefits of learning an instrument in the larger world of academic and personal success.
We strive to support and enhance the many wonderful benefits of a quality music education by reaching beyond the walls of our studio:
We offer volunteer opportunities in music-related activities to middle school and high school students.
We host and sponsor numerous student-run recitals and performances.
We build connections through collaboration with students of various teachers in a wide variety of disciplines.
We host masterclasses, recitals, group classes, and ensemble rehearsals.
We mentor new teachers.
